Zombies Return to Downtown Issaquah This Saturday for the 17th Annual Issaquah Zombie Walk
Free, family-friendly Halloween tradition features zombie makeovers, games, a Front Street zombie crawl, and a Thriller dance finale at City Hall.
ISSAQUAH, Wash. — The zombies are coming back! The 17th Annual Issaquah Zombie Walk returns to Historic Downtown Issaquah on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m., inviting families, friends, and Halloween enthusiasts to take part in one of the city’s most entertaining community traditions.
The free, all-ages celebration brings hundreds of costumed participants and spectators to Front Street for an afternoon of zombie-themed activities, music, dancing, and fun.
Founded in 2010 as a small gathering of friends and families, the Issaquah Zombie Walk has grown into an annual community favorite, receiving recognition in Sunset Magazine and bringing together residents and visitors from throughout the region.

“We started the Zombie Walk with a few friends and families, and it’s been incredible to see how the community has embraced it,” said Tom Gotuzzo, Founder of Issaquah Zombie Walk. “Seventeen years later, the idea is still the same: bring people together, have some fun, and celebrate downtown Issaquah. Whether you’re dressed as a zombie or just coming to watch, everyone is welcome.”
The festivities begin at the Historic Shell Station, 232 Front Street N., and include:
Professional zombie makeovers, family activities, and zombie-themed games.
Dance practice for Michael Jackson’s Thriller and The Time Warp.
The Zombie Walk takes over Front Street as participants make their way toward City Hall.
The grand finale featuring zombie dance performances on the City Hall steps.
Participants are encouraged to arrive in their best zombie attire, bring friends and family, or take advantage of professional zombie makeup services available for an additional fee. Spectators are equally welcome to enjoy the festivities and support downtown businesses.
The Issaquah Zombie Walk works in close collaboration with the Downtown Issaquah Association, whose volunteers and ongoing support have helped make the event a community tradition. The event is also made possible through the generous sponsorship of local businesses, including Craig Walker Real Estate Group.
